Noteworthy Building -
Located in Montepio Street, it houses, since 1856, a benevolent Society for artists.

"…” Crafts and related trades workers (at the time called artists) founded a charity to provide medical assistance and social welfare to their members.
In the beginning of the 20th century the Sociedade Recreativa e Artística Farense was established here. They still promote cultural activities.
This is an 18th century two floor building with eaves and hipped scissor roofs featuring on the noble level window spans mouldings.
