Building of Municipal Interest -
The result of urban expansion set out in the Town Plan of Architect João Aguiar (1945; 1947 – alterations);
1963 – (review) this is a series of buildings centred around a new street - Rua General Humberto Delgado - which, in conjunction with the rest of the city, led to a new residential area with a predominance of green spaces and family houses, representing the two architectural trends of the time – the regional and modern – the latter, with high-quality examples of the Modernist Movement.
