This Marina, whose licensing for operating was granted to Ginásio Clube Naval de Faro (GCNF) apart from organizing various events, assures the operationally of the entire nautica infrastructure, including a wide range of services such as: mooring of 510 motor boats up to about 7 meters in length, transhipments from and to anchorages in the adjacent canals, transport and placement of mooring buoys in anchorages, fuel supply, crane service, general maintenance, painting, mechanic assistance or even towing and assistance in the water, not only to the entire resident community including visitors or tourists, but also to the fishermen community who use the infrastructure daily, for which they have a private area for mooring their boats.

The Marina's entrance is limited to a 2.5m draft in the PM, since it is necessary to pass under the railway bridge (2m of draft), otherwise the vessels must stay outside until the tide allows passage.
